Work responsibilities have kept me from my routine for several days. I think I'm going to stop logging daily and just update this thread whenever I adjust one of the parameters. I'm planning to try a session today, but might need to dial back the PRA.
I want to eventually get back to Frolov practice, but in my limited spare time I have a set of myofunctional exercises that I’m going to prioritize experimenting with first. I’ve decided to reopen this thread to track the protocol. Rather than cluttering a new post each day, I might just edit this post with progress updates.
I’ll do the first exercise at a rate of 2 reps per second to fatigue until I can perform 200 reps per set and 20 sets (4000 reps) per day.
I’ve gotten the first myofunctional therapy exercise up to 200 reps per set and I’m getting close to the target rate of 2 reps per second, but I haven’t been able to complete 20 sets per day.
I’ve gotten to around 3,000 reps on some days but never up to 4,000. Regardless, I’ve started increasing the difficulty by adding some resistance and range of motion and mixing in some isometric holds.
