You must understand that this is a casual public discussion forum. You must understand that the owners, staff, and users of this website are not engaged in rendering professional services to the individual reader.

General rules:

1. Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators. There is no off-topic discussion. 
2. Respect other users. No flaming or abusing fellow forum members.  No insults or ad hominem. Do not escalate arguments beyond the context of a healthy discussion.
3. Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Do not harass users for photographs. Skepticism is fine. Intentionally disrupting the conversation or forum is not. 
4. Adult content. No profanity or pornography is allowed. No rude language. Do not attempt to go around the language filter. 
5. Illegal content. No reposting of copyrighted materials or other illegal content is allowed. 

The are multiple penalties possible for breaking forum rules, response will be up to the discretion of the moderation team. Multiple users have avoided bans by acknowledging their mistake and ceasing the problem behavior.
