When I thumb pull, I seldom hear clicks. However, I can quite easily induce a kind of sharp pain in the middle of my palette. If I find the right way to tweak my technique, this sensation extends into the middle of my nose, all the way up through the forehead. After doing this, I can usually feel the forces in my face better while mewing. Feeling the forces in the face seems to have been, at least partly, key in @Achilles1 latest mewing progress, which he previously shared on the forum. This makes me feel positive about my TP-practise. But the pain sometimes makes me questions if I am doing something dangerous, however.
I may add that when I describe the feeling as “sharp”, it doesn’t mean that it is very intense. It is rather the “quality” of pain I am trying to describe, if that makes any sense.
Does anyone else have any similar experience? And do you think it is a good or bad thing?
