Hi there
I am new to the forum and have a question. I have been looking at Ronald Ead's videos on youtube and having looked through this forum it seems to me that the MSE and SFOT approach would help me with my own underdeveloped upper and lower jaws. I live in the UK and have looked for SFOT providers and there don't appear to be any. However, there are quite a few clinics here which provide Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics (aka Wilckodontics).
Are there any differences between SFOT and AOO or are they the same procedure?
I don’t find any difference in the basic techniques used in both “acronyms”: corticotomies and bone grafting.
So choosing or other name or another would only be a matter of the intention of the procedure or, more probably, would be a choice led by the marketeer.
