I have problems with sleep insomnia and have a difficult time falling asleep. For those who have used a palatal expander, how did your ability to sleep and sleep quality change?

My IMW is currently 3.7 cm.

It cured my snoring.

I do assume I sleep better, more REM sleep, but I haven't taken a sleep test to establish that.

edit

I can't remember where I read it, but Vivos argues that insomnia can be driven by apnea, and the stress you experience from apnea events.

No idea if that's true, or how they established that.

It seems to me that for a good sleep, new bed linen and fragrance oils can help.

I can relate to the struggle of insomnia. It's great that you're reaching out for help and support! Have you considered exploring non-medication options as well? I've read good things in a dodow sleep aid review about a Dodow device that uses gentle light and guided breathing to help you fall asleep faster and get a better quality of sleep. It may be worth a try! Of course, it's important to consult with your doctor before trying anything new. It would also be helpful to keep a sleep diary to track your sleep patterns and discuss with your doctor what options might work best for you.
