Humans have existed in our anatomically modern form for approximately 100-300 thousand years [1]. The anthropological / fossil record only begins to show poor development more recently than 15,000 years ago [1, 2, 3]
Â
Physical symptoms of underdevelopment visible in skeletons include crowded teeth, mismatches in jaws (overbite, underbite, crossbite), obstructive sleep apnea, heavy facial assymetry, collapsed nasal passageways, and collapsed/impinged/dysfunctional spines, hips, shoulders, joints, hands and feet.
Â
Organ symptoms are more difficult to clearly verify. The organs/systems of the body do rely on the structural integrity of the body and proper positioning/usage of the body in order to funtion optimally. One such example is the circulatory system relying on proper foot mechanics in order to circulate blood [1]. Another example is the CerebroSpinal Fluid System being driven in large part by the breathing [1, 2, 3] (This is important to Whole Body Breathing). The Hormonal System in influenced by posture [1]. Cranial Torsions have an effect on the brain [1]. The bodies sense of posture and safety will also have a direct impact on the nervous system. Viewing the body as a continuity/interconnected whole, any collapse in the physical/fossil record can indicate collapse in the other systems.
Â
Mental Symptoms will not show up clearly in the fossil record, but rates of diagnosed disorders have been steadily climbing in the past hundreds of years, and it seems also to be true of the rates of addiction and suicide. Although it would be difficult to determine how much of the rate increase is due to increased disagnoses/awareness, the general consensus seems to be that there has been a general decline in mental health over the centuries and especially in past decades.
To be a species which is simultaniously hit by two unrelated species-wide survival-reducing diseases (physical collapse and mental collapse) would be a shocking coincidence, especially as the prevalance of physical, organ, and mental symptoms seem to heavily correlate. In Whole Body Breathing theory, this is all one correlated collapse, and a feedback loop.

Why this is a very big deal:
- Humans are the only species showing such a developmental decay/collapse with no known specific cause.
- The symptoms of collapse are a threat to survival/lifespan of the creature, to have an animal go through its billions of years of evolution towards better survival and suddenly have a species-wide convergence towards poor-survivability / health traits in 15,000 years is highly unusual.
- The rate of collapse seems to have increased over time.
- The comorbidities of collapse are wide ranging.
- There is not yet an established cause or cure, and there is currently no large effort to establish one in hard science / evidence based medicine. Very little research or funding is going into this topic as it is being viewed a many seperate topics/silos of research rather than one problem displaying many symptoms.
