The understanding of Whole Body Breathing scientifically from the fascial lines of anatomy trains, and the connections to energy meridians have been extensively noted. It is recommended that the trainee first fully feel and understand the physical sensations before attempting to feel energetic sensations
and yet…
What are your physical sensations if not energetic? Electric impulses, vibrations are being interpreted by you as physical sensation. Interpreting your physical feelings as feeling some part of the energy network is a good door into feeling energies, although I recommend that you stay with the solidly physical sensations until energetic sensations occur spontaneously.
The torso fascial tensegrity line of WBB (Scalp, Spine, Perineum, Linea Alba, tongue and face) is the same as the energy lines of the microcosmic orbit, as are the lines down the legs and into the arms.
We will practice these understandings together, but a core understanding to know is that energy should remain flowing through the channels rather than hitting resistance in some places (often a problem for those practicing sexual retention).
A practice of overlapping WBB with Tai Chi/Qi Gong Understanding
The Whole Body Breathing understanding of the body and our expansion for breathing actually naturally transitions into the movements of tai chi. The WBB inhale and exhale exhibit the same patterns of pull/natural movement that Tai Chi does, and it is indeed possible that we are creating the physical/modern research framework for the natural movements and stances noticed long ago.
