Hi, to summarize the situation I am currently 16 years old, almost 17, from my birth to my 16 years old, I was literally always breathing through my mouth, not a single moment I had to breathe through my nose for more than a few seconds, to speak for example, and I am serious.

I would say that early in my life, my mandible get stucked into the condyle because of this habit, as in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6ZbJhlJj44, for some time now, because of the trapped mandible, I have had painless cracks on one side of the jaw, and unfortunately, a jaw that is remarkably twisted, and this even before my orthodontic treatment.

The mandible being stuck into the condyle, it caused me an overbite and also the common overjet, as in this video. At least for the overbite that's what I deduce, I know that some people say that the overbite caused by mouthbreathing is due to the way the maxilla is rotated, on my side, I think it shouldn't affect the jaws occlusion, but maybe I'm wrong?

So, about the orthodontic, at 14 years old, not being aware of all this history, I had a palate expander (This one is good), braces, and especially, and this is the biggest problem: Class II rubber bands. Basically, according to my understanding of the problem, my orthodontist basically pushed my maxilla into the mandible that was stucked into the condyle...

Because of all this, my profile is relatively hideous, for the main reason that my mandible is trapped and because of my orthodontist it is now the same for my maxilla, both jaws are not "pulled" enough forward, and mainly my mandible, it makes my chin less tall and much less projected/defined, which makes my nose, which is not originally small, appear much bigger, if I protract my mandible forward by about 1cm in a way that I have an underbite, my nose appears more proportionate compared to my face.

To get to the point: How am I supposed to fix the problem now? It's not that I don't believe in the practice of mewing, it's just that without any particular applied force, I see it only as something that guides the growth of the maxilla when a children actually growth and not as something that will advance my maxilla by as much as 1cm (Which I think is a lot) so that the mandible can follow, and get out of the condyle. I don't want to have fun waiting several years waiting with my problems getting fixed when we have no proof that a good posture of the tongue without applied force will really change things at that age. That's why I wanted to share a protocol that I would like to try, and for which I would need external advice, It is divided into 4 main parts:

  - Buy myobrace and use it temporarily to force me to have a good tongue tongue, in the case my current mewing tongue posture is not right.

  - Using some products to increase my IGF-1 levels mainly by spikes during the day

  - Practise myself NCR (Neurocranial restructuring) therapy which is supposed to "lose" the cranial sutures

  - Probably the most important step, I would like to make or buy a face pulling device that would allow me to make a protraction of the maxilla connected to an intraoral appliance that would not touch the teeth, just the palate, it would somehow reproduce the role of the tongue, but with constant force, I would use it during the night.

For all this protocol, apart from the correct position of the tongue, which is obviously definitive, I would like to do it for about a year.

So, what is your opinion on this protocol?
  - Do you think myobrace is a good way to learn good oral posture?

  - Do you think multiples IGF-1 spikes during the day would accelerate the maxilla rotation/forward movement?

  - Do you consider NCR and the fact that it would cause to lose the cranial sutures legitimate or bullshit?

 - Do you think that such a facepulling device, that reproduces the role of the tongue with a force of about 1kg to 1,5kg, wearing at night for 8 hours would rotate/move forward the maxilla quckly? If so, what about relapse?

 - If there is indeed a rotation/forward movement of my maxilla, am I sure that the mandible will follow well and so that she will finally be able to find a normal relationship with my upper jaw, out of her condyle, thus correcting my TMJ?

 - My facepulling should push up and forward, really like the whole tongue when mewing or down and forward? I heard that as we age, the maxilla grew down and forward, but the practice of mewing makes me think that we want a up and forward force?

I know that it's a lot to read and that I ask a lot of questions, so thank you in advance to anyone who would help me.
