Hey guys, I am 24 at this moment and have severe asymmetries in my face. Please give me an advice. I will seek professional help but before that I would like to hear your opinion and possible solutions.
More info:
I assume my first goal should be to improve the asymmetries. For later, I would consider MSE+FE. For that reason, I’m planning to visit a chiropractor and check if any underlying problem is present (scoliosis etc.). After fixing the body I think there will be a high necessity for an appliance. Could you name a specialist or an appliance that could help to make my face symmetrical again?
Additionally, I feel like my mandible is too far back and it feels like it is pushed into my neck. It would like to come forward but is restricted by my frontal teeth. Doing an underbite feels good for my neck. Therefore, I assume maxilla should be more forward.
I started to mew, chin tuck and to focus on my posture. I think there might be an improvement that you can see on the last photos. However, I don’t know how the old photo was taken and it might be a different perspective. I also lost around 5kg.
"I have severe assymetries" lol. First nobody is perfectly symetrical, everyone has some minor facial assymetries that of course are unnoticable in movement. Then there are peoples like you, it's more noticeable but you still have to look close, very close at your photos and know what you are looking for. I guess it's unnoticeable in movements too.
Obviously, there a some small issues such as your midline and an a bit assymetrical palate. I believe that the ALF appliance can help you with that. Here is a video about the ALF https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqL1rLp1Hnc
and one about cranial ostheopathy in conjunction with the ALF https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqL1rLp1Hnc
and here a cranial side bend treatment but maybe you already found it by yourself. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/47631855_Correction_of_dental_and_cranial_sidebend_with_ALF
As for the MSE+FM, it is a device for airway, your lower jaw seems to be fine but i can't judge properly. If you have some airway complaints, then definetly consult a MSE trained orthodontist and see what he can do for you (not every of them use the FM in conjunction with MSE though)
Best of luck.
You have average face, don't even see any asymmetries... Stop being so insecure bro
Thanks for your answers guys.
First of all, I think that I should have leave out the word "severe" in my previos post....anyways.
I will search for an ALF practicioner and dive more into this subject. I am open for more feedback, but be more critical please :)
@fknasymmetries - breathing is a lot easier when I force an underbite but the contact of the teeth is just horrible. I could live like that but since MSE improves esthetics and functionality its definitley something I want to go for.
Thanks for your answers guys.

I am critical towards you, just like i wish my parents were at the time, it would have avoided me a lot of health problems and would have saved me a ton of money. As for the MSE, it doesn't really improve your facial appearance, it initiates a virtuous cycle allowing you to change it. Most of the aesthetic changes come from muscle atrophy/hypertrophy, in your case you would need to chew more but after getting your bite corrected and a bit of bone growth. I think you’re doing a great job, thanks for helping out the youth, brotha! I have a question for you though. What are your thoughts on MSE combined with FP? I know I said what I said about UCLAnewbie, however I don’t think he is credible enough, as I’ve also stated before. He has said that adults cannot experience a CCW rotation from protracting, however, he also did say that several adult test subjects did experience vertical growth which is an indication of forward protraction, like somebody pointed out on here somewhere.
With all of this being said, you seem to be very confident in our potential ability to protract forwards about 5 to 8 mm after undergoing MSE, so I’m curious as to what makes you believe this over UCLAnewbies’s claims? Have you read something that I haven’t or have you contacted Dr. Won Moon? Again, I don’t really fully believe UCLAnewbie per se because he did even state that vertical growth did occur, and he’s just a student that regurgitates the textbook way too much, but I’m still very curious and want to avoid having false hope for anything, you know?
Thinking about it now, I am also questioning the CCW concept myself and thinking what if they manage to experiment with directions in regards to pulling forces and perhaps maybe pulled upwards during treatment to emulate CCW rotation .
Hello, first, i am literally nobody, i am not an ortho, a jaw surgeon or anything like that. I am a patient who needs some treatments done to improve mostly my health and a little bit my look so i have been lurking on this forum for 1 year before creating my account and kept lurking until a few months ago plus i lurk on lookism (i don't even have an account) from times to times to learn some new things about aesthetic but not long enough for worsening my mental health.
My goal is probably different than your. I don't have a long midface, in fact i have a short philtrum and short nose nor am i seeking for that jordan barett cheekbones look, i find more pleasing the almost straight temple-cheek-jaw line look like brad pitt or nessman have. Their cheekbones are well developped and play an important role in their look but they aren't really thick and the first thing you notice when looking at their face. So i don't really need CCW rotation, maybe a slight bit could be benefical but i think that i will be able to live without it. I just need my lower jaw to advance a little bit to allow me to breathe correctly in a neutral head posture and make my lower third a bit taller which happens when i slightly jut my jaw forward, i want this position to become my new bite and then i will seek for the masseter hypertrophy like i said in the MSE thread.
Yes i have read something that you didn't about the MSE+FM, but i can't find it again, the closest thing i can share with you is the comment section of this article on @abdulrahman 's blog, here is the article: http://www.aljabri.com/blog/case-analysis-recessed-versus-forward-faces/
Maybe @abdulrahman could help you.
If you want to continue this discussion, my PMs are open to you because this page is for analyzing the case of MaxillaMarch.
