I started to learn how to mew about 4 months ago. I was stoked because around week 2 I was starting to breathe through my nose and stop breathing through my mouth when I sleep. It wasn't until like a week or two or ago I noticed friends and family of mine looking at me different and even laughing at my face when i spoke. I think my left side is assymetrical from mewing incorrectly. My face was already quite forward and I already had a really strong jaw so with the combination of mewing, my face is way too forward and my face got very round and long.
I dont know what to do. I was freaking out for like 6 hours last night just trying to compare my face to previous pictures of mine. Is there a way I can reverse this process? I'm terrified because I can't even look or talk to people straight in the eye.
Are you sure they werent smiling and laughing because they were interested or enjoying what you were saying?
That would be my first guess as well. If they're your friends, what's really the likelihood that they'd suddenly start laughing at your face? My guess is that it would be pretty low. Insecurity about your appearance is a more likely explanation. You're probably overthinking things.
