Hi guys! I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a bit about my story, in hopes to find some input, I'm new to all this but have been reading and researching and i found this forum! I'm 25 years old and missing 4 bicuspids plus my wisdom teeth, my case is a bit peculiar as I was born missing right upper second premolar which might have been the cause of my midline shift... I'm missing 4 bicuspids but I have never gotten orthodontics, thing is that one dentist thought it was a good idea to remove the remaining three to "fit the jaws" (I dont' have underbite or anything I think) but I never got braces. I did have space for my wisdom teeth but they talk me into getting them remove to "save me from the pain" later, three of them had erupted already without pain... I'm just super sad and feel that my face has been butchered. I'm missing my second premolars in my upper jaw and the first premolars on my lower jaw... I dont' know why the doctor did this but it is what it is.

If you could kindly help me I have been mewing for two weeks, trying to help my poor body posture. I want to reverse extractions. Sadly I cannot get implants because my body rejects them. I'm hoping the new studies on stem cells to grow new teeth come fast enough and I can pay them.

I was planning on doing a DIY plan to treat myself, I don't even know if an specialist would want to treat me because my case it's weird and I'm not even a teen anymore. Located in Italy btw.

I measured my intermolar width and it sits on 29 mm which makes me super mad because it used to be 39 mm! I lost all that because of extractions.

I'm just hopeless? Thanks in advance for the help!

Edit: I forgot to mention I had a small seizure that left me with some issues moving my tongue to the left (this was about 7 years ago), I didn't notice  the effects on y face at first but recently... this has created asymmetry on the face and dental arch. basically my tongue on the left side is almost paralyzed and has little to no strength

So on the topic of reversing extractions, one thing I would recommend is to watch this Q&A video with Mew and listen to his answer to the first question:

/community/mike-mew-qa-response-video/

It starts exactly at 1:00. The whole video is good btw.

Check it out and let us know what your thoughts are.

Working together, we're all getting closer to finding solutions more quickly. I'm very confident that you'll be able to fix your situation sooner than you think. The teeth are placeholders, but the jaw will expand even with no teeth in position - start working hard on your tongue posture! You can also invest in an expander device.

I'm sorry to hear that "professionals" betrayed your trust. A major reason why the medical community has so much inertia for accepting these ideas is because they will have to take responsibility for causing massive damage to millions of people.
