I'm about to start my Vivos DNA Appliance treatment in a couple weeks. The orthodontist said that using a facemask will be the bulk of my treatment as the only real thing I need is to expand my severely recessed upper jaw which will also bring my lower jaw forward. My teeth and IMW look pretty good though along with my airway as I've been mewing for the better part of 4 years. I do unfortunately have a deviated septum with my right nostril being about 30% bigger than my left one.
However, I'm curious, how in the world do you live normally using facemask? I don't mean from the potential embarrassment of how goofy it looks in public (as we are all stuck at home) but how can you even read with a big device just sitting in front of your face and line of vision? I study a lot and do a lot of extra work after my day job from home but I cannot fathom to achieve any productivity with a facemask in front of my eyes for the entire evening/night.
