I am 31. At the age of 15/16 I had a good forward grown maxilla, straight nose.
By the age of 18 my maxilla seems to have rotated downwards ruining my aesthetics: long midface, long crooked nose. The cause of this was probably poor oral posture which was influenced by narrow and high arched palate.
I tried mewing half a year ago, but couldn't grasp it. I tried mewing again a week ago and now I think I am on the right tack to correct oral posture, etc.
Do you have some tips of how to rotate my maxilla back? It makes sense to me that I should apply upward pressure to my palate near my incosrs.
Should I look at other ways of expanding my palate other than mewing? (I visited orthodontist and also asked about my palate. He looked at it and said "it is fine", but it does look narrow and is about 35-37mm as I measured.)
Thank you!
