I LITERALLY can't breath nasally while maintaining a proper tongue posture

I guess i am in a minority here, as I have never been a mouth breather. However, I have always had a horrible tongue posture and a bad jaw and an overbite because of it. Recently I have learned a lot about mewing but I am starting to think that I am a lost case.

I literally can't breathe in any way while mewing. I can get to proper tongue posture without too much effort but having the back third in contact with the roof of my mouth COMPLETELY blocks my airways. What should I do? Do I get any benefits from mewing with the front two thirds? I am getting very frustrated.

It will get better, I kinda have the same problem, I've been trying to mew for about 7 months now and I've been only mewing correctly for the past month.

I can ALMOST breath while putting my posterior third in the roof of the mouth when before I felt like my airway was closed like a vacuum. It will take time, just be patient and keep at it.
