So I recently found out that I might get bracers and I was just wondering if bracers would affect my face in anyway? Like will it maybe revert my mewing or anything?
In what way will it affect my face from the outside?
If there's extractions involved, it will probably cause the maxilla to become more recessed. I had extractions and wore braces for 3 years. The result was an extremely recessed maxilla and facial asymmetry.
No, I don't think there will be any extractions involed, only bracers put on my teeth. I've heard it's better to have flexible braces (when mewing) Is it true or nah?
Yes, braces often narrow the palate, but if you have really crooked teeth and you are young enough, I think you still should go for it, since after the braces are done you will be able to mew later on. I suggest you avoid extractions and a high vaulted palate.
Yo
I dont really know what to do tho? my teeth aren't that crooked, its only my 4 upper teeth that are a little bit crooked. I live in sweden, but i dont know if we have flexible bracers. My lower part of my face (from my nose and down) is kinda going inwards cause I was a mouth breather before. So what should i do guys?
