Found out about forward growth after researching the potential reasons for my poor under eye support. I've got purple dark circles, and my eyes sort of stick out of my skull considerably when viewing my profile.

Have had forward head/upper cross syndrome since at least age 15 or so. Face definitely grew down sometime during/after my 2 years of braces at age 10.

Also have a canted smile, with teeth on my left side flaring up and outward (or so it seems). My lower jaw followed suit and is higher on the left. I think to compensate, I also turned my head to make my jaw and bite as parallel as possible. But it could also be the other away around, the chicken or the egg question; maybe having my head turned is what caused uneven swallowing pattern and unequal jaw forces thus moving my teeth. Or maybe moving my whole maxilla, or causing it to grow unevenly. I'm not sure if it's the teeth or the maxilla itself that is canted up and to the left.

My teeth generally just don't fit well together either. I think the forward head posture recessed my jaw, putting extra stress of my back teeth causing them to be grinded down. Now when trying to fix my posture, the mandible wants to come forward but then my front teeth touch too much, while the back teeth don't touch enough.

Smoking marijuana recently increased my awareness of these issues tenfold. Being high makes you so much more aware of your body sometimes. The malocclusion, the asymmetry, bad tongue posture all became so apparent that I was just wishing the high would go away.

Now passing my mid-20s. I'm 110% sure these cranial/dental problems are the root of my depression and anxiety. I've felt something was wrong for so long but never looked into it enough to be able to express to myself  and to others what the problems are. Now that I can, any advice?

Keep in mind my mustache and beard may give the illusion of better forward growth
May not be the best angle to determine forward growth but it's all I've got at the moment. I'm mewing with a suction hold in this photo but I just can't seem to consistently activate it all day.

Thanks.

Your forward growth looks about average to me. Are you seeing anyone about your bite? And how's the width of your palate, can you fit your whole tongue up there without the molars cutting into it?

I know what you mean about weed.i use it for my PTSD and it really makes you super aware of your body and what's going on in it. Usually I have trouble visualizing the topography of my palate and how my tongue's engaging with it, and as a result I'm constant shifting and revising its position. When I'm high, however, it's like I have complete awareness of that whole area and as a result I'm able to position my tongue perfectly. I think "yes this is it, you've cracked it, don't forget this feeling" but by the next morning, I've totally forgotten, lol.
