Oh, of course.  https://www.reflectivesmiles.com/sippy-cups   There are other articles out there by other myofunctional therapists as well.  I think this one makes a lot of sense.  Some of the others use this really interesting WOW cup design & it is a top seller on Amazon.  It is an improvement from some of the other sippy cup designs.  However, there are manufactures who are pushing these cups past transitioning ages.  I spoke with an orthodontist who was in-the-know of faces.  He said that the lack of breastfeeding for the first 3 years of life keeps orthodontists busy in the U.S.  Now that's an honest man.   An open cup design is obviously best.

I can suggest possibly sharing the article above with her.  However, once delivered it's all you can do and you've done your part!  :-)  Oftentimes, parents do take action from suggestions such as these.  That's the really great thing!  If you share your excitement about it, then they can often incorporate little changes.  Even little changes make a big difference!  The potential cost savings against orthodontics is really a huge draw.
