Hello guys, this is my first post at this forum.

For about 5 months I have been working on my tongue posture.

Then I added D3K2 + ZMA + OMC double sides to my routine. However, I am not so satisfied with the results that I have. Do I need patience or am I missing something?

Hello nanomuto,

Five months is a bit too early to see any facial changes especially in your case where you have decent lower jaw position in relation to the upper. Most people who see fast gains tend to have the lower jaw set back. Tongue posturing reduces this by forcing the lower jaw to jut forward.

Looking at your picture, you have moderate CFD. This is not easy to fix and takes years to reduce. At this stage you should look more closely at your teeth. Do you see any change? What is your inter molar width?

This is where you will start seeing change if you are posturing correctly. By the way, there are other things that you need to do along with that to get the full effect such as swallowing properly, closing your mouth all the time, chewing hard gum, and correcting your forward head posture.

Speaking of which, your head forward posture is sever. Correcting this is a must to be able to posture your tongue high and deep enough in your palate. In the picture below I corrected your forward head posture to show the proper angle of your head. You can clearly see from the vertical line that your face has not grown forward enough.

Wow. This is a great answer. I got some questions based on this info.

What is CFD? Do i need any spesific treatment besides using tongue posture, swallowing etc..?

Unfortunately i have not measured my intermolar width. However i can see the effects of my new face on my teeth. They seem less crocked.

Plus i have made a gif with your method to observe the improvement.

CFD stands for craniofacial dystrophy which is the medical term Dr. Mike Mew made to describe the face growing downward instead of forward.

There are partial treatments for this condition. Depending on your inter molar width you can either start with ALF, mechanical expanders, or FAGGA. Tongue posturing that you are doing and all other forms of Myofunctional therapy are important too.

Since you already see some changes in your teeth you might not need some of those treatments. I think the first step for you is to get an impression of your teeth at an orthodontic clinic.

Based on that you can determine your inter molar width and judge your progress accurately.

PS. the gif is not lined up correctly, the head angles are different.

Ok so I fixed the gif, i think its much accurate then before.

However I realized that my face has become "longer", even if i use those techniques.

Is it expected or its part of the reconstruction of the face?

ba corrected

Yes this is better aligned, though I would shrink the after picture so the heads match in size.

As for lengthening, yes I see it overall but the biggest thing I notice is that your forehead looks longer because the hair is raised. That could be the reason. Also, you look generally younger in the before picture (obviously more than 5 months). This could be because of the lighting in the after placing; most of your face is in the shadow area.

I would not consider your face longer until you have matching picture conditions or many pictures to reduce the chance of other factors.
