Hi, all. I have been developing my tongue posture for the past 3-4 months. This is something I've noticed recently. My bite feels different. When I put my jaw in rest position, my bottom teeth touch my front teeth now, and my last set of molars do not contact (the molars in front of them do, however). Have any of you experienced that?

Also when I open my jaw while keeping proper tongue posture, it pushes my lower jaw into an underbite, and it feels like I need to put a little bit of effort to keep my mouth into a slight overbite. Not to mention, my lower jaw looks well-developed and model-like whenever I push it into an underbite. Do I have a well-developed lower jaw, but my maxilla is just extremely recessed? If it is related to that, I wonder if it might have something to do with the fact that I started a traditional orthodontics treatment at around 13 yrs old. At the time, my teeth were already decently straight, and I did not have to get any extractions. A year after I started my orthodontic treatment, I started to get sleep apnea symptoms. For instance, I would yawn at least 10 - 20 times in a single class, and I would always lay in bed, feeling depressed. I wonder if I had good facial development before my orthodontics, which is why my lower jaw looks decent.  I honestly don't know if this really means anything or if I am delusional, but what are your thoughts?
