Would chewing with an overbite make the molars tip inside even more and worsen the overbite?
Or would it somehow straighten them?
and why?
P.S: Please explain your opinion better than "chewing is supposed to straighten teeth" so we could know if it is legitimate.

Okay...I'm going out on a limb here. I've just about had it with orthodontics and this whole environment of patenting that has kept us SICK for SO LONG! I could go and patent this and I very well may...but you guys should know.
This is how it goes down... $2. Walmart. No guarantees. This is NOT medical advice... this is just a hypothesis.
Okay... so it's $3.25 - whatever.. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Wilson-Mouth-Guard-Clear-No-Strap-Adult-Youth-Size/11968966
If this is boiled pretty good and pretty flat (don't want teeth marks on the bottom and want it pretty flat and thin with teeth marks only on the top)... then it wraps pretty good around the teeth on the top. Trim excess.
Heck - I'd try that thing. Now, of course, this is for class 2 dentition with a decent overjet. You can't get your bottom to blow past the top without going into underbite...so that's why Dr. Bill Dickerson moves forward the top first.
Learn more on what overjet, overbite & dental class mean at https://www.smileworksliverpool.co.uk/blog/overjet-liverpool/ There are far too many variations in people to be able to know if this is good. That's why I recommend an orthodontist. Thing is... nobody believes that you can grow lower jaw bone in adults. This may refute that or it may just show that that actually is the case. Hard to know. Hard to say. Super theoretical and takes a long time to figure out. Oh yes... little bumpers for the lower teeth make sense... See attached.
The problem is the teeth have grooves that they're used to fitting in. Now...of course wearing something like this long-term can make your chin forget where it's supposed to go. It can cause asymmetries in the face as it balances muscle and these asymmetries may not be reversed. It can potentially cause TMD as the maxilla can raise as it's sort of like clenching. It should not be used for eating (might bite too hard and create open bite). No bubble gum as intrusion may result. It can throw off teeth placement/bite. I can't think of much else..maybe choke on it? I'd probably consider eating with it where the bottom jaw is advanced. This can result in problems when done with current or recent Mewing, ongoing braces or upper loosening/expansion. It's more for a virgin facial problem. Can make women look less attractive. A recessed chin usually is associated with poor energy so it's kind of a reflection on society that we like our women easy to control. LOL
The teeth have to all change, though, to support the new position...so it might just be a waste.
To get the lower bumper, you'll have to boil the heck out of this thing. LOL It's not totally necessary since most people don't use it anyway... Vivos...all them...this is how they "advance" chins.
Oh yes... not recommended with a deep bite.
Whatever position you chew in is typically reinforced. The problem with just manually trying to move the lower jaw forward when chewing is your teeth have no clue how to bite together. They just don't. So... an alternative of this is to wear this in the day... bite both sides to mold to the teeth, but keep the lower jaw slightly more forward (not extremely or it can actually yank the condyles out). Get used to that than advance a little more. NO CLENCHING WITH THIS IN. That would be bad. Chewing does hardly anything but drive teeth in. The whole friggen point of chewing is lost on me. The position that is held during the day or chewed in can be reinforced. This stuff isn't made for adults and the only thing they have is surgery and a few other interesting ones out there..so there are options. I don't know much about this, but know that a recessed chin can be bad for airway and energy. My neighbor has kids with recessed chins. If she were actually nice, I'd tell her that it's important to fix. Sorry if you're offended out there because your mom was a snob and didn't have any friends watching out for her. It's her deal.
In the first rendition, it's what allows Vivos' saggital DNA and RAGGA advance chins. They can move forward.
In the second rendition, it's basically this thing... http://tapintosleep.com/dentist/products/mytap/ but thinner.
If it's too thick and you speak with it in, then you can stretch your philtrum. That's why I like thinner. This is basically a deprogrammer. This can be used to fix crossbites sometimes without the bumpers. 2 weeks is the usual.
I'll say it one more time...Mewing not recommended here. No pushing up on the maxilla or biting down. Good posture is fine. Safer to wait 4 weeks after Mewing to try something like this.
