After attempting to mew off and on for a year i am now able to comfortably place my whole tongue on the roof of my mouth but my maxilla still needs to come forward a fem millimeters. I have an infrared sauna that i haven't been using much lately but i was thinking that maybe the heat could make the bones more malleable so that mewing while in the sauna could have a greater impact on the maxilla. Infrared heat penetrates the body by a few inches. The heat has a direct impact on the tissues which you can feel in your muscles while in the sauna, it's alot more relaxing than a regular sauna that only warms the body from the outside.
If the infrared heat penetrates the skull and make the molecules a but more mobile isn't it possible that that would have a noticeable affect in how quickly the tongue is able to change the bonestructure of the skull?
I'm going to do it a few times a week and see if i notice any changes.
I haven't noticed anything like that. And I'm going to infra red sauna for almost 4 years. I have to admit that I did not have any issues like yours, but I am very much sure that you can find more information about infra red light therapy online or at your doctor. I believe that it is better to get informed before you do something wrong, which you believe is right. Google knows many things, but we often do not know when medical things apply and when they don't! See your doctor, or at least call a doctor. This matter can be discussed over a phone call!
