In adults with cfd, I heard the jaw grows down and back, but, does the jaw grow to it's full length? Then appliances just remodel the jaw forward? Adults don't actually grow new bone it just remodels forwards right? Or do our jaws literally grow forwards with appliances? Are adult jaws already at their full length? And do "growth appliances" literally grow your jaws past their full length? I'm confused, I thought adult jaws are already grown to their full length but the actual structure of the jaw is downwards with the maxilla
