Hi again. I have noticed I have had hoarseness in my voice for the past few months, I thought it was caused due to mewing, since the activation of the throat is being used. After searching up the causes of hoarseness, it has got be a bit paranoid whether it could be mewing or whether it could be another problem. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have caused hoarsiness by an incorrect technique. If you are pulling your hyoid/adam's apple region up in the throat without stabilizing the movement by an opposing downward pull, the muscles involved in producing speech can become imbalanced. Try flexing/stretching your adam's apple downward with straight neck in front of a mirror. When you do it the right way your voice gains deep resonance and if you push it even further you begin sounding like an opera singer.

Thanks for the reply. Do you pull down the Adam's Apple by lifting the ociput up? Similar to the this image?

My mouth became very dry when mewing at fist because I was activating a certain muscle on the bottom of my tongue that seemed to block a "saliva duct". The fix seemed to be releasing tension on the relevant area of the tong (one hte bottom side).

Do you have some  advice on how to improve the voice (more resonance, from the diaphragms, not speaking from the throat)?
