I have a expander that expands my upper palate. But, if my teeth will be placed wider as a result of the palate expanding, they should press my cheeks outwards from inside the mouth.

So as I see it, the widening of the upper palate will result it pluffy cheeks? Or am I wrong in this?

Expansion of the palate (lower area of the maxilla) will cause an outward shift in your zygomatic bones as well. This change would result in more prominent cheekbones - not puffier cheeks.  Use your tongue to feel where the roof of your mouth is. It is above the fleshy part of your cheeks. The buccinator (cheek) muscles are anchored at one end to the zygos, at their upper end. They will not become puffier with more outward movement.

You are a unique situation, do not look attempt to weigh aesthetics against proper development. You will look better if you correct improper development, this is a tertiary effect. As your body and skull develop as they are supposed to, you will become more attractive.

The benefits of proper development and the benefits of others reacting to this development go hand in hand. Assess your own situation, and if you know there is a lack of development then also know that correcting such issues only has a positive effect.

I think it's best if things are done without appliances?
