26M. I have been living with chronic fatigue syndrome for nearly 8 years, my sleep is unrefreshing and I now clench my teeth heavily at night. I always told to my doctors that I was under the impression that my fatigue was the result of some form of physical problem, I felt psychologically healthy outside the fatigue I was experiencing. After blood tests and quick examinations, my doctors always told me I was physically healthy, so they treated me as if I had depression and anxiety problems, with no other route for possible explanations. The antidepressants never had much effect on me. I stopped using them for the last few years.

After studying orthotropics, watching all of Mike Mew content, I realize that I must be suffering from craniofacial dystrophy. My face is longer than the norm and the one of my parents and my lower third developed at a downward angle. When having perfect cervical posture this downward and longer facial development creates uncomfortable pressure on my quite prominent Adam apple. In order to alleviate the discomfort, I naturally compensate by tilting my head up at a misaligned neck posture. It is now becoming apparent that this unnatural pressure is creating pressure on some cervical nerves which results in my chronic fatigue symptoms. I believe this discomfort is what is creating the bruxism as well, I am realizing I can't sleep without my head being tilted forward.

I discuss this with my doctor a couple weeks ago (I didn't fully make up my mind about all of this at the time), this was totally unfamiliar to him and he didn't think those theories starting with facial development made much sense.

I live in Canada, I find no orthotropics practitioner nearby my hometown. What steps would you recommend to do next to get myself heard and understood in order to be treated properly? I believe it is quite possible that I will need counterclockwise maxillomandibular advancement surgery, I don't think an appliance would be sufficient since it only creates forward growth while I also need a counterclockwise angle adjustment. Relevant note, I finally was able to do a sleep study in a lab a couple of days ago (long waiting time) and will get the results in 3 weeks.

Wow!  You are on the right track.  So aweseome to see your recognition and progress!  :-)  Sounds like lefort maybe?  The BEST thing to get proper treatment is a CBCT showing your airway.  If there are any orthodontists who use it up that way, I'd get a consult.  Interestingly, you really ought to take the CBCT with a good postural positioning... here's why!  If you tilt your head forward (such as you do to breathe), then you'll see a larger airway in the CBCT.  People will keep head foward to breathe and that's where some of the posture issues come from, right?  In fact, in asking a local doc about the connection between scoliosis and airway it was explained like this... If the airway is small, then the head is moved forward to breathe.  This puts pressure on spine.  Think of it like holding a bowling ball.  Now... I'm not a doctor... only relaying some stuff I heard.  Super interesting stuff!!!!  Keep in mind MANY different things to do.  Airway is a big animal.  People hit it with the hammers they have.

Yes, and mental health and airway are all related!  Super exciting!

Yeah my retruded downward maxilla angle is forcing my jaw farther back than it should which I believe compromise my airway.

I think you're on the right track.  I just say... to my brother... once and done.  Surgery.  Some are super opposed to it.  It's a tough one.  Risk to all.  Check this out... https://www.i-cat.com/their-story-fiaz-patient-dr-bob-kaspers   I would have liked to hear Fiaz say it in his own words, though.  But!  Good stuff.  As anyone who gets on a CPAP says - life changing.
