Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum and seeking some help on a few issues I have. Its a question which I feel will help a lot of users as it's something very desirable to achieve but isn't often discussed. Since some members of the forum are seeking to do things such as mewing to develop more traditionally attractive features (i.e. better facial structure) this is definitely something which could benefit others too.
My jawbone isn't very straight and is closer to being diagonal- not quite that extreme; the point I'm making is that it isn't straight. I've noticed on a lot of 'traditionally attractive people' so to speak (such as Henry Cavill, he's the strongest example of this) that one of the features which makes them attractive is the fact that their jawbone is horizontal or at least close to horizontal. This is usually referred to as a 'square jaw'.
This is something which I feel is, at least partially, determined by genetics but can also be improved and is almost certainly to do with posture. If you notice someone such as Henry Cavill who has very good posture in comparison to someone such as Adam Driver who has very poor posture, you'll notice that Henry has a far straighter jaw than Adam does, suggesting to me it is related to other factors other than genetics. I suffer from muscle imbalances across my body which have caused the right side of my face to appear higher than the left which is contributing to my facial asymmetry, which also suggests to me that it can be fixed by stretches; the less 'tense' side of my face, if I look at my side profile, has a slightly more horizontal jaw that the right side of my face.
I do also suffer from poor posture which I only very recently realised and have only recently started to try and fix. Is there any way for the jawbone to be 'pulled down' and made to look more straight? Stretches around the neck or anything else? Perhaps just fixing posture will help this? I know mewing helps with this but there is definitely other ways to help this. If anyone else has any experience with this and knows how to help, it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance.
