My hard palate is high, and pretty small in terms of surface area. Would mewing mess me up? IDK, i want to learn mewing for its benefits, but I do not want to do it without proper information. I cannot find any proper source about high palates and mewing.

Take a look at the video. This is about the use of an appliance that essentially does what the tongue does during mewing. It's very informative and entertaining and it shows how the palate expands and the vaulting drops over time. (If you want to skip the pre-amble then start at 10:27).
The difficulty with a high arch (I have one too) is positioning the tongue so that the upward pressure fully extends over the whole of the palate.
