I need some guidance on what to do when I have braces, please help.
I'm pretty sure the braces will prevent most gains from mewing if not completely do the opposite of it and ruin your face more. That's just my opinion, not a fact.
Unfortunately this probably won't get many replies because it's such a basic question but here's your answer, and you won't like it:
Don't get braces.
You need to do more research and understand craniofacial dystrophy better. Braces unequivocally make CFD worse. Mewing may fix your malocclusion, anyway.

What if you just turned 14 and you had braces up to two years would that be less worse?
Most of my molars are perfectly straight, except for two. My incisors in the other hand are pretty crooked except for three of them all the bottom ones are crooked which I assume is caused by my only crooked, upper incisor which presumably caused crowding in bottom incisors.
Also my palate is narrow, but not too narrow where I can't comfortably place my tongue on the roof of the mouth.
Are you going to have any extractions before braces?

No.
I used to have pretty crooked teeth, I did notice that my teeth seem much straighter than before. I am not sure whether this comes from mewing or a lot of chewing. Either way I know for sure my teeth are somewhat crooked because of narrow palate, it's like they're pushed up against each other and don't have any more space it's gotten better though.
If the doctor is aiming to use the braces to expand your arches so all your teeth line up that is pretty good, because it means he won't be using retraction. That being said braces are known to cause facial lengthening in young people. You might want to check with him though if has another option such as ALF or DNA to achieve the same results without using braces.

Do all orthodontists have access to ALF or DNA?
