i have seen people with narrow dental arches but with broad jaws and also people with broad dental arches with narrow jaws, so is upper/lower jaw width and narrowness mostly genetic,just like tongue shapes which are different from person to person?
Tongue shape is genetic for the most part, however, many people will probably have overly large tongues from incorrect swallowing patterns and resting position, but this can be reversed over months through correct use of the tongue.
