is this the depth of a good palate?

Is this a very old skull? I doubt the palate should be completely flat since the form of the arch is what gives the upper jaw the ability to withstand the stress placed on it from chewing. All parts of the body have a natural curve, straight lines aren't really something you see in animals. And when the tongue is at rest, it naturally takes on a slight dome shape.

I've looked inside of the mouths of villagers with incredible wide development and their palates still had the form of an arch. Just a very shallow and wide one.

yeah i get what you mean

in the study is no info about the skull from which years they where i though or i mist it.
