As the title says, I just received my palate expander which has one additional adjustable hole. So, the question is, do I have to turn the screw on the both sides to get that 0,1mm adjustment? It's a little bit weird because on the website, expander I've ordered as you can see below only has one hole in the middle which you're supposed to adjust. If somebody knows why I got an expander like this pls explain, I'd appreciate that. Thanks!
As you can see, the one on the left has 2 holes (one for the back part and one for the front one, while mine (the one on the right) has 3 holes, 2 for the back and 1 for the front))
Also, while I'm here. I'd like to ask one more question about expansion. I'm going for slow expansion since I'm 21, how often do you recommend to turn those screws?
I also received mine like that. I think it is 4 turns on each side to achieve 1mm. However, do not take my word cause I'm not 100%. So far I'm 4 turns in on each side and I've been turning them every 3ish days. Haven't experienced any problems at the moment so should be good.
