I am a 17 years old student and i just had my braces removed. I started mewing 2 months ago but now that i have my braces removed i have to keep a retainer in my mouth during night for not allowing my teeth to move. In my palate there is enought space for my tongue to stay in the right position but i am afraid that this retainer will not let my maxilla growing forward....what do you think?
first you need to be 100% sure that you keep your tongue in posture at night if not the could shift back into the old position i use fixed retainers they are pretty oke they don"t hinder the progress
