hey everyone i've been mewing for almost 2 years and i've seen some good results but lately sometimes i feel like i'm short of breath and 2 days ago i almost had a panic attack and i've been feeling a bit dizzy and weak ever since.i'm not sure if this is related to the proper tongue posture but i've read here that mewing partially blocks your airway if your face isn't fully developed.but if that's the case it is weird that it is happening now and not 2 years ago when my face was way more recessed.also the last few weeks i've been pushing the tongue on the palate way harder, maybe this is what is causing this?any thoughts?
How is your posture? Imbalanced mewing can encourage kyphotic posture, leading to
1) less efficient breathing
2) mechanical stress on nervous system and intestines
2 years is a time in which significant postural changes can happen almost imperceptibly. I have gone through temporary bouts of self-induced knee pain, chest pain, back strain and anxiety, because fixing one part of anatomy can easily lead to "compensative dysfunction" at some other location.
Your stomach should be sucked in all the way from the groin, through the torso to tongue. This will provide solid base for diaphragm.
Hey, I think I'm going through the same thing, the difference being I'm at the beginning of my mewing journey. It's been some time since your post, what has happened since then?
it happened to me, but it is intermittent, it happens when I hard mew, last week I bleed in the nose after some days of hard mewing and kept happening during a few days and was short of breathe for a few days after.
also one of my cheeckbones swelled.
