Molars expand first? When does the front widen?

I feel satisfied that my molars have widened quite a bit in the past few months, but the front 8 teeth seem very stationary. My arch is more crowded on the right, with premolars tucked behind the canine, and those just don't seem to be moving. The result is that a paper impression looks distinctly V shaped.

I have an overjet so when my tongue is on the incisive papillae, it's quite a long way from my front teeth. I've only just really gotten the hang of the push swallow, which does seem to put good pressure on the premolars.

Is there an order to the expansion process when working solely with oral posture? At what point did you see your front, visible arch start to really spread?

Your swallow shouldn't be putting pressure on your premolars.
