This is how my bite impression ended up looking. Considering how my palate is narrow for my teeth, it's not hard to see why I have teeth crowding.
Hopefully getting some expansion can get rid of my occlusion and make my face look more handsome. I'm honestly pretty excited to get my expander.
(As a side note, will bracesshop be able to use this impression? Did I do a decent job or should I redo it?)
It is interesting to see the impression. My guess is it needs to be redone. The back molars are not encapsulated. How did you make this impression?! I also was wondering... is this your top jaw? What's the IMW? How is your nasolabial angle?
It's a kit that bracesshop sent me so they can make my device. You mix a doughy solution roughly rationed 1:1 and bite into it, and it hardens.
Yeah, it's my top jaw btw. That's why the crowded teeth show up on the impression.
The IMW is a mere 33.34mm, much smaller than I ever anticipated. Good thing I'm getting palate expansion.
My nasolabial angle is around 45 degrees.
Just wondering if they will be able to make my device properly with this mold and if I should redo it.
I think I'll just I shoot them an email real quick with the picture, they're usually quick to respond.
