I want to try using tongue posture all day and holding the results with an expander at night. Mainly because I can't talk with it I don't want to have a lisp for the next month.
Do I turn the expander while it's in my mouth or is it supposed to be taken out and put back in? Also, has anyone face pulled with an expander or do I need to buy a retainer?
Have you had any extractions?
The expander fit well and so I'm confident everything is going fine. I'm only doing the lateral expansion right now since I intend to just move very slowly and take the slow road with correction. I think I've done a little over 1 mm so far, I only keep it in at night and use my tongue as much as possible the rest of the day.
And I think I can actually kind of push the front palate with the tongue.
So I'll keep expanding the back teeth
So no solid update as of yet but I'll just let you guys know.
