Your bones never fuse so your face is always able to move according to wolff's law so no need to worry about time constraints.

Im aware of this. But you'll for sure see much better results when your bones are in growth. Thats why im thinking on mewing only 2-3 years while my bones are growing.

Maybe if i mew from 20 to 30 or something like that i'll se results. But getting maxillofacial surgery seems like a much better alternative becuase i dont want to waste my prime on something thats not certain to give me results. Yes i belive in mewing, but the changes you'll see are extremely small

Here John Mew, that in adults orthropics will only prevent the face from getting longer. And if you cant shorten the face in adults i guess you cant really bring the maxilla much up and forward? The whole things is really confusing, Mike just gives vague statements like "change is possible in adults". Im really conflicted about what i could excpect

As i said, im gonna meet with a maxillofacial surgeon to see what can be done. Wasting 10 years of my prime to maybe see some small results isn't worth it for me. Others might be okay with it, but you've got to make decisions based on what you want and value in your life.

My point is that since tongue posture is an essential part of overall proper body posture, maintaining it will be important even in the case you decide to surgically advance your maxilla. Otherwise your cranium will keep collapsing further as you age, leading to partial loss of the aesthetic improvements you gained through surgery and lessened overall fitness of your body. Regardless of how you proceed, it would be unwise to stop mewing if you at any level care about your  health.

Yes for sure, im not gonna stop mewing and i'll be certain to correct my forward head posture.

Altough if i see very great results in the leap of 2-3 years, i might not get surgery. And i'll be sure to do proper research before going into surgery

once you tried mewing after a month it will be a habit to the point you'll mew even in your sleep. you would think that your tongue posture on the roof of your mouth is natural like i cant even get rid of my tongue under the roof because it became really comfortable for me so once you start mewing, you would get used to it. my point is you got nothing to lose from mewing since mewing cant stop you from doing anything you want. to help you i guess keep your expectation not so high or you would be disappointed just keep in mind that you are doing this not just for looks but for your health too

sry for bad english

Yes i have been mewing for a couple of months but also while maintaining forward head posture, it hasn't worked only gotten worse. But im aware this is purely because of my forward head posture. And also maybe because my palate is to narrow and i cant get the tounge all the way back there without disrupting the airway.(help with this please btw)

But your saying i should't excpect much, this is why im gonna get surgery after a while. If i wanna get some changes both for my health and face, the best thing to for me is to mew untill my bones stop growing and harden completely and after that get surgery both for health and looks. I think i'll se benefits for health also trough surgery? But i wont stop mewing after that either. but i wanna get the most out of my youth and i think this would be the best way to go about it

what do you mean by it only gotten worse? having negative changes probably cause by incorrect mewing. if your palate is too narrow to the point that the pain on your tongue is unbearable, you might need expander devices other than that it is your choice to go and see a surgeon . you might get discourage because you check yourself in the mirror and see no changes but others that mew mostly get substantial changes after like 6 months and so my advice is dont check on yourself you can look but dont stare for too long looking for changes or itll discourage you more and make room for more negativity inside you other than that if you feel like you really need to get a surgery then go for it. at the end of the day, u did what you want and what makes you happy

Bone growth stops at 12 years old. Remolding continues throughout life. There might be better alternatives, as surgery has it's drawback.  How much did your doctor tell you you need to expand forward?

Depends on the person a lot. The cranium stops at 12 I think, the jaws stop growing a bit later. The bones don't really fuse at all which is why people who get pituitary disorders later in life get bigger faces.
