Well, I started mewing in February, I had always breathed through my mouth until, I had posted pictures of my chin on this forum, about how it is recessed, note that I have been wearing braces for about 2 years, and I will remove it soon, I don't really know if I have mewed the right way, I've gotten used to put the maximum of my tongue on my palate, although to some degree, depending on how much it still seems to block my airways, so I think I could put a larger part of my tongue to the palate. I haven't done any chin tucking, and I've adopted good swallowing practices only very recently, so assume that the progress on the pictures comes only from a mewing, without applied force. At night, I tape my mouth vertically, sometimes the tape go away at night and I seem to have my mouth slightly open when it happens, according to my memories.

So I'm here to post my progress, I don't know if there's really any impressive progress, or if it's just the angle that's different, or the braces that have improved the situation? I also read a study that says that the mandible growth a lot in the 16-18 age range, maybe it's just natural?

I'm sorry for the angles, the overall brightness is different, I hadn't planned to do a "before and after" in the past at all, because I didn't think mewing would improve the situation.

In fact, the more I think about it, and the more I feel like I've "grew" a chin, lol, I may say shit, but a few months ago, before I started mewing, I felt like I didn't feel the "bone" of my chin when I touched it, now I feel it well, although if the chin still recessed, if it is indeed an improvement and not a difference due to the angles and the light, it motivates me a lot for the future, I who had considered jaw surgery with genioplasty before!
