Tried to put the frankfurt horizontal as horizontal as possible. I know my jaws are receded I just wonder how much more forward growth do I need, planning on doing lefort 1 soon to fix this.

My indicator line is around 44 mm ( might be 45 , might be 43, hard to measure). I cannot indicate where the problem is , why do I look so weird?

Hi,

you don't look recessed... Your nose is perfecly straight and the tip Is even upswinged.

Some undereye support is visible.

You side is overall concave and not flat or convex

Can't you stand straighter?

Something like this

You shall find many other tips on the internet Just by googling "body posture" or hire a trainer at the gym

I thought you should measure your profile with frankfurt indicator line? Straighter standing would mean I would dwing my head back

No, you are jutting your head forward. Just shift it back straightening the neck.

What's weird by the way?

Small chin, lower scleral show. Those are my main problems

@kyte just because he isn't ugly doesn't mean he's not recessed. he has classic signs of a longer face, recessed maxilla and jaw, weaker chin and less-hooded and eyes that aren't deep enough, nose appearing more prominent due to recessed maxilla etc. if you never had good oral posture aka mewing throughout your life then you are guaranteed to have maxillary recession, it's that simple. don't worry, most people have it too

hmm. when I created this thread I was hoping for some guidance on how to measure the amount of advancement needed for my upper jaw compared to an average person? I also believe my face is actually quite short, I mean my face width to heigh ratio is around 1.92 which is decent. Also, in my opinion it would be interesting to see how big of a role genetics play. I can't make myself think that you can take any newborn baby, start training him for oral posture as early as possible and end up with a model tier adult. Also, southern europeans and other some other ethnicities tend to have distinct nose shapes which I doubt can be changed my mewing. I am not an expert just trying to have a critical view on all of this. Although I am 100% bad oral posture can negatively impact the face.
