MARPE, 4 miniscrew but without teeth anchorage

My orthodontist is proposing a MARPE treatment with 4 miniscrew but without teeth anchorage.

Is there potential drawback about this model?  I'm 29M

It looks a bit like that :

Other question : I have a bit of a crossbite where my upper teeth are barely in front of my bottom teeth. I heard a few time that it should provide me with a bit of forward movement. Is it true?

As I understand it, the molar arms not only guide correct positioning of the TADS, but also stabilize the framework during expansion to keep forces directed in the transverse dimension and reduce torsional strain that could lead to failure if it starts to bend or pull away from the roof of the mouth. That's why MSE providers typically keep the molar arms until after the diastema. If I remember correctly, Dr. Moon discusses the topic somewhere in this lengthy lecture:
