My orthodontist is proposing a MARPE treatment with 4 miniscrew but without teeth anchorage.
Is there potential drawback about this model? I'm 29M

As I understand it, the molar arms not only guide correct positioning of the TADS, but also stabilize the framework during expansion to keep forces directed in the transverse dimension and reduce torsional strain that could lead to failure if it starts to bend or pull away from the roof of the mouth.
