Hello there, I'm 19 and just learned about Mewing to improve my profile, I was just wondering if it would make my profile worse because my maxilla is already quite forward grown yet my mandible looks like it sinks into my neck.

Here are some pics for you to judge

Ok. We need to clear a few things up here. Your maxilla isn't forward grown just because your mandible is behind it.

Actually you have a case where your maxilla is rotated downwards and away from your face which is what pushes your mandible into your neck more. I would be willing to bet you have a Mew indicator line of 52mm or so judging by your profile.

Forward grown face =/= acute nasolabial angle. You actually seem like you may have some mild bimax.  Is your occlusal plane facing down? If so this could explain your profile.

Maxillary recession does not always mean the same thing in all cases. But your profile looks mouth breather like to me.
