So many different appliances and procedures

My head is spinning, so far I've been to one consultation with a well-reviewed dentist in California that offers the Vivos DNA/mRNA appliance but I'm hesitating to do anything because I keep reading new things. Here's a little background on my case:

I had 2 upper bicuspids extracted as a kid and had braces. The braces pulled my front teeth back to close the extraction gaps so in effect forward growth was stunted. The lower teeth fit behind the upper teeth so my lower jaw was also prevented from growing forward and thus I have a weak retruded chin. This is what I want: to reopen my extraction sites and get implants for my previously extracted bicuspids. The problem is I don't know what method I want to use to open up these spaces. I read about (F)AGGA, ALF, Herbst, DNA, MARPE, SARPE, etc. It's making my head spin. The dentist I consulted wants to use a customized version of the DNA + mRNA appliance. Will that be fine for me? Does it do a proper job of palate expansion? Does it separate the suture and promote maxillary skeletal expansion, or is it just the illusion that it does by moving or tipping teeth? I don't know, and I can't find any sites that answers this question for me and it's really just keeping me at a standstill from doing anything. I'm especially cautious of what I'm doing because I also read that once I get the implants it's pretty much set so I won't be able to do anything from then on.

I also read the other Holy Grail thread regarding the MSE device by Dr. Won Moon and I really want to give that a shot as well but I don't know if it's the right treatment for my case, and whether it will help the growth of my lower jaw like the mRNA is allegedly supposed to do.

Any advice would be appreciated. I also posted a side X-ray to put an image to my case. You can see that my mandible grew downward rather than forward as often described by Dr. Mew. I have a very prominent antegonial notch as well due to this. Also you can see that my lower molar is behind my upper molar because I had that extraction in the upper row. A normal bite should have the lower molar in front of the upper molar which means my lower jaw should have at least been advanced by that distance if I never had that darn extraction as a kid :(

Thanks.
