Opinions on what may possibly be a cheaper Starecta:

It seems to me to be the same principle as Starecta. Like the starecta, it's just a soft pad that goes between the back molars and uprights the skull. The Starecta has soft deforming pads for the uppers and lowers, I'm not so sure about this. It might just sit on the bottom teeth and is soft for the upper teeth. The thing is, they're barely proposing any of the benefits (fixing the spine, scoliosis, back pain, asymmetry, all sorts of things) that Starecta does.

Is it the same thing?

If it's not, the starecta just looks like a soft wedge. Is there anything else that can replace it? $200 seems steep

Apparently the bottom deforms but the yellow part does not. It works the exact same as the starecta in terms of the idea that all you do is boil it/heat it up, and then bite down. The amazon selling page even says (like starecta) to allow a few days for your bite to adjust to it.

But the top yellow part not deforming is an issue.

I think if we find a mouthguard like this that has top and bottom deformation for the teeth, it's basically the same thing as Starecta.

You're correct about everything here, this seems to be the same basic premise as the Starecta but without the impressions being taken on both sides.

I do not think that any mouth guard you can get on the market will let you reform it multiple times, however

Does anyone have any idea what materials Starecta uses?
