Antegonial notch and mewing/hard clenching

I've always had what was considered a "good jawline" but it wasn't square and my ramus length is not what I would have liked it to be. I've been mewing hard for 3 months and I've experienced a maxillary and mandibular upswing. The antegonial notch, which is present in "maloccluded" jaws is currently still there as of now

I guess I have two questions: Over time, does the ramus actually get longer, or does it become "exposed" out of the non-ideal position it's in, and does the antegonial notch straighten and fill out over time?

Thanks

There's actually a very interesting success story photo that might answer some of your questions. Check it out:

From what I can tell, it looks like his ramus grew. As for the antegonial notch, his looks unchanged; but he did say that he wasn't chewing gum at all. Gum chewing might cause that area to fill in by thickening up the jawbone in general.

By the way, how would you describe your mewing technique?

I would say that unlike some individuals with asymmetries or more severe malocclusion  ive always been able to get my tongue up in the roof of my mouth. I mew so that the tip of my tongue barely touches the front teeth, and as my mouth has morphed to ever better accommodate the tongue, i add some "negative vacuum" by sucking in a little excess saliva or air that is present. This reaults in a a feeling that can only be described as the tongue being "locked in place" in the correct position, and then from here i simply apply great pressure so that about 70% of force is on the rear part of tongue and rest is in the front. When i do it hard and continuously in this "locked in" position i feel my whole midface being sore and the back of my neck. Additionally i usually chlench my jaw while doing this so that the mewing and clenching counter eachother: such that i get a muscular mandibular workout while decreasing load on enamel.

Your technique is very similar to what I normally do except that I never thought to use suction to lock my tongue into place. I usually just clench down with my jaw muscles, which forces my tongue upwards. But now that I am trying out the suction technique, I seem to be mewing with more force than before. I'll keep experimenting with it.
