I have degrees of asymmetry that have gotten worse through mewing. One side of the face is more droopy yet has a more developed jawline. I have discovered the reason for this lies on my uneven teeth or rather the mandible. People with even teeth and asymmetries tend to get rid of their asymmetries through mewing. See the attached pictures for understanding what I mean by uneven teeth. What should one do at this point? Should I continue to mew or go back to my old habits of not caring about tongue posture? Are there any solutions to this?
As someone with an asymmetric maxilla one thing I also have a problem with is that my jaw joints are at varying heights, even if my mandible is reasonablely symmetrical it wouldn't look it as its on an angle.
This I believe was the result of dominance of one side of the face and asymmetric posture, so to counter it I try my best to on make sure my tongue is central which results is significant pressure on one side. Chewing symmetrically etc to try balance it as well.
