My braces were not taken care of properly but taken off anyway. I now have a massive overjet that has affected by ability to breathe almost all of the time, and an assymetrical bite in height. It gave me open mouth posture and made my lips look like fish lips. Help? I have a narrow palate and a tongue tie, I cannot get surgery to release it so I would have to do it myself, and I'm not sure I'm that hardcore. I have terrible posture, which has gotten worse now, in my chest and the breathing even goes so far as to make my chest feel uncomfortable. Im sure the muscles are fucked. the tightness goes to my chest and stomach and somtimes i have to hold my jaw to ease the discomfort. other times... i mean i assume different jaw postures to ease it and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't or I lose it. please help. ANY ideas. oh it also gave me a gnarly double chin from the front. like my face is being absorbed into. And thats how the cookie crumbles. the cookie being my flipping self esteem. i feel the breathing affect muscles in my face and jaw. my uppers eyes even and my nose. and throat. I never really needed braces, my face was not ascended or anything but it was fucking functional. now its not. and i didnt have the mega chin trying to suffocate me. oh. and my lips were not fish lips. its also given me shitty nasal labial folds or whatever they are called and rounded my face down. but maybe thats just the fking chin and the fact that it's like shortened my bite I guess. my face used to be tight. retrograde but tighter. now its all fucking fleshier. my hormones are messed up by meds so maybe thats part of it. it jacked my muscles and my throat for a while- part of why i had to get them taken off. the way the brackets affected by cheeks and the facial muscles was making my face. now my eyes are assymetrical a my lips are too, part of it CAN go farther back, i cant suction to the roof of my mouth and for a long time I had to swallow using my facial muscles. not that i was using good tongue posture in the first place but the difference was noticeable. I'm finally back on track and I'm all over the place. Suggestions, science words? Anything? especially for the breathing part. certain jaw/tongue postures ease it, but to get into certain posistions i strain my jaw to the left because of assymetricallity and get tmj like crackle and pop. an

Your breathing problems sucks horse cuck. It's not bad, I CAN see your ramuses, your chin is a little weak, your jaw from the front is no problem it seems like to me like it would be closer to a square than a round face a little gum chewing will give it angularity, there's barely any nasolabial folds, nose is good it's straight and proportioned well to your face, the only bad part is your eye area you have no brow ridge, eye lids, slight negative eye chantal tilt, eye spacing is good, no noticable asymmetries anywhere on your face, eyebrows are kinda high.

I remembered that you mentioned you have poor posture. Stand up straight, tongue suctioned to the roof of the mouth, and head held high. This immediately make your chin look less recessed, reduce submental face from tongue posture, and just generally make you more attractive more from the side profile and a fair amount in the front.

I really thought your face melted like butter before seeing your photos. Sorry about the breathing though try something like homeoblock.

any idea on the lips? or is that unfixable because of the overbite now? they look really different from the front now. i kind have to hold them close i think with like my lower jaw or my muscles? because they'll like pop open now in the middle. like right now. like at the beginning of trying to do good tongue posture my lips relaxed and face felt heavy and like it was being dragged down in the face area. can feel it slightly now. will all this stuff just correct- is there anywway to accelerate the corrections if they do?
