I (22F) have a severe gummy smile (I show about 8mm of gum and 2mm of teeth when I smile) and long midface, I actually went to see Mike Mew in person and he said that theres not a lot of examples of gummy smiles being improved by mewing in adults (the research is not very extensive) but he believes that it should work, hard-mewing, maintaining correct tongue posture and doing chin exercises should help me see mild results in 2 years. Let me know if u have any more q's :)

Did Mike Mew specifically recommend you to hard mew? Did he help you with achieving proper tongue posture? Also, was he not willing to treat you with appliances?

Hi, did you see any improvements in your gummy smile after following your routine? If so, how much excessive gingival exosure was reduced?
