Ever since mewing people have thought I have a Boston accent (Northeastern US not East UK).

Which is weird because I don't think I have a Boston accent. I don't know, maybe my vowels are becoming more limited and relaxed lol

Anyone have the same experience? Maybe not specifically mine but something similar?

Where are you from that you employ this consonant sound? American? That sounds like some Ohio dialects

My voice has deepened and become more resonant as a result of changes to my chest and neck posture. I have done exercises with a Morrison bone prop in the hope of loosening muscles to help with Mewing. Not notably successful but I have not been diligent. I thought that Mewing and the bone prop would lessen my accent and make my enunciation crisper and clearer. Well no one has commented on that yet.
