Before I sleep I mew with the tongue on the roof of the mouth, excellent head posture, and jaw closed. But this causes me to wake up just a few moments after I fall asleep because I can't breathe. But when I tilt me head and neck forward and don't mew, this doesn't happen.
I think you should keep trying until you are able to sleep in the ideal position, but dont be stubborn about it, start little by little, like just closing the mouth for example.
