hi everyone,if i hear a cracking sound in my jaw sometimes when i open my mouth,does that mean that the facial bones are moving up and forward?someone told me this a few years ago in a mewing discussion but i'm not sure if it's true or not.

@kflps

Oh. Then yes, it's not. Where is this sound coming from exactly?

@azrael they seem to be coming from somewhere around the jaw and ear.

@kflps I had something similar in the same spot a few years ago before my orthodontic treatment and it somehow went away after that. I still sometimes (rarely) hear that sound when I open my mouth too much. I've seen people say mewing fixed their TMD pains and clicks online and perhaps mewing will fix your issue as well?

@azrael before i started mewing i never had this particular type of sound when i opened my mouth.only when i started mewing it started to appear.also before i started mewing i would have frequent nosebleeds (because of deviated septum),and as soon as i started mewing it went away completely and it improved my breathing.

@kflps I see. I'm sorry but I don't have an explanation or solution for your problem.
